What is Inside God of War Ragnarök Steelbook Case?

Before we jump to other stuff, let’s clear one thing first. Since the announcement of preorders, there seems to be confusion over the GoW Ragnarök Steelbook Case. A Steelbook Display case comes as an exclusive part of the Collector’s Edition and the Jötnar Edition. However, while it does look great and aesthetically pleasing, the community is currently unsatisfied with the fact that it doesn’t actually contain a game inside it. That’s right, you are not getting a physical copy (disk) of God of War Ragnarök inside the Steelbook case, only a voucher with a code for the game. Now when we’ve explained this, let’s see what other content comes with each edition..

How much will God of War Ragnarök cost?

At the moment, prices for various God of War Ragnarök editions haven’t yet been revealed. Our estimation based on current trends is that the base edition of the game will most likely be priced at $69.99 for the PS5 and $59.99 for the PS4 version of the game. When it comes to other, more expensive editions, we currently don’t have an idea how much they could cost.

How to Pre-Order God of War Ragnarök & Pre-Order Bonuses

At the time of writing, God of War Ragnarök is not yet available for pre-order. The pre-order will kick off on July 15th, 2022. You will be able to pre-purchase the game directly via the PlayStation Store if you want a digital-only edition. The exact starting time for pre-orders is 4 pm CET / 3 pm BST / 10 am EST / 7 am PST. You can also pre-order physical copies via your local distributor. For now, Sony hasn’t yet revealed what will be the pre-order bonuses for the game.
