Forge Nornir Chest Solution God of War Ragnarok
Like its predecessor, God of War: Ragnarok is likewise a pretty big game. And, during the course of your GoW Ragnarok playthrough, you will often discover things that you seemingly cannot solve or obtain yet. Take, for example, the Nornir Chest located in the Forge map in the Svartalfheim area. In all likelihood, when you come across it, you won’t know what you need to do to get it to open. That is because, at that point in the game, you still don’t have the necessary item required to open this chest. We are going to show you what the item is, where you can find it, and how to then use it as the solution for the Forge Nornir Chest in God of War Ragnarok.
How to Open The Forge Nornir Chest in God of War Ragnarok
You won’t be able to open this chest for a long time. Not until you have gotten the Draupnir Spear in your arsenal. If you are wondering where to find this Tertiary Weapon, we have written an entire guide that explains the location of the Draupnir Spear. Once you have the Draupnir Spear, you can then use it to open this chest (and to perform many other such actions that you were previously unable to do).
To do this, go to the Nornir Chest’s location (we have marked it in our screenshot gallery down below) in Svartalfheim. Once there, move to the ledge directly behind the chest. There, you will see a rune a short distance away. What you need to do here is to throw and embed your spear in three nearby runes. So throw the spear at this first one. Then, turn to the left. You will see another rune here. Throw the spear at it as well. For the third rune, go back the way you came to the chest. The final rune is on a rock overlooking the wooden bridge there. Once all three runes have a spear in them, detonate them all at once. This will open up the Nornir Chest. Inside, you will find a Horn of Blood Mead as your reward.
