God of War Ragnarok Dwarf Playing Instrument in Nidavellir Bug Fix
It’s safe to say that God of War Ragnarok is a great game. Even better, the game has been released with a distinct lack of game-breaking bugs that seem to plague many other such AAA releases. Though, that isn’t to say that there are no bugs whatsoever in GOWR. A particularly notable bug can happen early on in the game, during The Quest for Tyr – Explore Nidavellir. One of the objectives here requires that you talk to a Dwarf playing an instrument in a tavern. This is because you are looking for Durlin, and he can help point you in the right way. The problem is that sometimes the game bugs out and you can’t speak with him. So is there a fix for this God of War Ragnarok Dwarf Playing Instrument in Nidavellir Bug? There is, and we have it right here.
God of War Ragnarok Nidavellir Dwarf Playing Instrument in Tavern Bug Fix
The problem here is that – in some cases – the circle above the head of the Dwarf in question doesn’t appear. This means that you are then unable to interact with the Dwarf and thus advance the main story. So if you are wondering how to interact with him, there is a very simple and quick way to fix this bug. Simply restart from the last checkpoint. This last checkpoint isn’t too long ago, so you won’t have to repeat too much progress.
When you have done this, the next time you enter the tavern and go to speak with the Dwarf, everything should work as intended and you will be able to interact with him. Every player that has attempted this method so far has managed to get the game to work after that, so it’s safe to say that this fix should also work for you as well.
Thanks this worked. Thought I was going mad!
That music was killing me. The restart worked, thanks!
Restarting the check point worked for me! I was standing there forever listening to his music lol
Thank You! That music was annoying because I thought I had to listen to it for like respect or something for him to talk to is. I was focusing for a good 5 minutes, leaving, coming back, but the restart was the only thing to help.
No matter how many time I restart it -it’s soft lock me at the music
Was stuck wandering around forever, thinking I had missed something… checkpoint restart fixed it.
Thanks, getting really sick of that music
Thanks a lot, really helpful,
I was afraid I couldn’t continue the game 🙂
Thankyou, I gave up after a while and looked up a guide thinking I was missing something, restarting to the checkpoint fixed it
