God of War Ragnarok Draupnir Spear Location
The spar is one of mankind’s oldest and deadliest weapons. And while it has never gotten the pop culture recognition it deserves (swords and axes are a lot more cool-looking and iconic), this is finally set to change with God of War: Ragnarok. Namely, over the course of the game, Kratos is going to get a powerful tertiary weapon – the Draupnir Spear. This spear is needed to progress through the game and it is both a useful tool and a flashy new weapon in Kratos’ arsenal. In this guide, we’re going to show you the location of the God of War Ragnarok Draupnir Spear, as well as explain how to get this Tertiary Weapon..
How to Get Draupnir Spear in God of War Ragnarok
You won’t be able to get Draupnir, the God of War Ragnarok spear, until you’ve played the game for quite a while. Of course, it goes without saying that it’s spoilers from this point on. The Draupnir Spear itself is obtainable in Svartalfheim. The dwarf Brok will take you to meet the mysterious Lady. Follow him up the Forge there. Once you arrive there, you will first need to fix the mechanism before you can proceed. Use your axe to chop some siver material from the silver-color spiky rock nearby. Go chop some and get it to Brok. Next, get some bronze material the same way. Brok will then fix the mechanism you need to go to the Lady.
The bell-shaped mechanism will turn out to be some sort of diving bell. As for the Lady, she is a mermaid that is going to forge Draupnir for you. Once you get back to the surface, you’ll be able to use it in action. It is both a melee and a long-range weapon. You can throw it as many times as you want, since it is going to replicate more spears in your hand. A great trick is to embed up to five of these thrown spears in an enemy and then detonate all of them at once, dealing massive damage. Draupnir also has other uses outside of combat, as you’ll soon find out.
