The Ghost of Tsushima crimson red dye merchant on Iki Island is a new vendor that you can find in the newly-added region. As it says on the tin, he sells all kinds of cosmetics in a rich, red color. However, there are a few potential problems here. For one, you need to know the location of the new merchant, which is kinda in the middle of nowhere. On top of that, he won’t appear anywhere until you unlock him. That’s why we’ve put together this guide to help you out.

Where to Find Crimson Red Dye Merchant – Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island

To find the crimson red dye merchant in Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island, you have to look south of Mount Takenotsuji, on the north bank of Tatsu’s Ladder. That’s to the north of Yahata Forest and Zasho River. If you need visual assistance, check out our video below, or take a gander at the screenshot. However, if you go there right of the bat, he might not be there. So, what’s going on?

Well, the merchant won’t spawn until you complete a specific requirement – completing the Hidden Cove Tournament. You can find this “event” in the west of the area, west of Kitsune’s Pond and north of Old Gamblet’s Wood. You’re looking for a cove called Fune’s Refuge, basically. Don’t worry, you’re not likely to miss it, as it unlocks through the story. Specifically, you’ll find it after the Main Tale called The Blessing of Death. You need to win all four duels in the tournament before the Ghost of Tsushima crimson red dye merchant on Iki Island unlocks.

Once you complete tournament, head straight to the location we’ve marked above. He’ll even greet you as the tournament champion, which is kinda nice. Feel free to peruse his wares and purchase whatever tickles your fancy.
