How to Solve Ghost of Tsushima Blood Stained Shrine & Get Bloodborne Armor on Iki Island

To solve the Blood-Stained Shrine in Ghost of Tsushima and get the Bloodborne armor on Iki Island, you need to find the solution to the riddle next to the altar. It reads: “The first green of spring sickens to black, decaying, plagued by blood and beast. Hunter, reject death’s allure. Prepare to duel man’s frailty.” The first line, of course, tells the story of Yharnam, the monster-infested city from Bloodborne. The other two lines are the actual riddle that you have to solve.

So, it calls you “hunter.” To do that, you need to put on the Kensei armor, which you earn by completing the Six Blades of Kojiro Mythic Tale. If you don’t have it already, check out our Kensei Armor Ghost of Tsushima Six Blades of Kojiro Location guide. Once you’ve donned the Kensei outfit, you have to heal yourself in front of the altar. That’s the solution to the Iki Island Blood-Stained Shrine in Ghost of Tsushima and get the Bloodborne Armor. If your health is full, climb up the cliffs around the shrine and jump down to take fall damage.

After you’ve healed yourself in front of the shrine, a cutscene will play, in which a bunch of crows will envelop you and “make” your new armor. You’ll emerge with the Yharnam Hel and Yharnam Vestments for your troubles. They both look really cool.
