Genshin Impact Wind Catcher - How to Use & Charge
Wind Catcher in Genshin Impact is a new gadget in the game’s Update 1.1, and a number of questions have been popping up about it. For example, Travelers are wondering how to get the Genshin Impact Wind Catcher, how to charge and use it, can you use it more than once, and more. In our Genshin Impact Wind Catcher – How to Use & Charge guide, we’re going to clear up some of the mystery. It’s simpler than it might seem, trust me.
How to Get Wind Catcher in Genshin Impact?
To get the Genshin Impact Wind Catcher, you have to reach level 3 at the Reputation Vendor in Mondstadt. After you do that, you can pick up the crafting recipe for the item. Once you have it, head to the blacksmith nearby, and ask him to make you something. Go to Gadgets, and select the Wind Catcher. You will need ten Hurricane Seeds, thirty Windwheel Aster, and fifty Crystal Chunks. The blacksmith will need about thirty seconds to make the Wind Catcher, so just jump in place or something until it’s done. All in all, it’s a pretty simple process, as long as you have all the necessary items.
How to Charge & Use Genshin Impact Wind Catcher
To charge and use the Genshin Impact Wind Catcher, you have to capture small, greenish fairy-looking wind “spirits.” There are several places where you can find these, there are many locations where you can look. The best one, in our opinion, is in a small area in the north of Wolvendom, west of Mondstadt. We’ve marked the area for you in the screenshot below. Feel free to share other locations with us in the comments.
As for how to use the Wind Catcher in Genshin Impact, it’s pretty simple. When you charge it, hit the appropriate button on your platform (it’s Z on PC). This will create a wind gust that will propel you upwards, allowing you to fly and glide for a brief while. After it runs out, it goes on a cooldown of ninety seconds.
Can you Use Genshin Impact Wind Catcher More than Once?
Yes, you absolutely can use the Wind Catcher in Genshin Impact more than once. You can use it as many times as you want, as long as you have it charged. This isn’t some kind of consumable that’s a one-and-done deal. Oh, no; it’s a gadget that you get to keep and use at your leisure. Just keep it charged, and you’ll have the power of (limited) flight at your fingertips.
There you have it. That’s how you get, charge, and use Genshin Impact Wind Catcher. If you need more help with the new content in Update 1.1, we’ve got a bunch more guides for you to check out.
