How to Unlock Genshin Impact Tatarasuna Barrier Shield

To unlock the Tatarasuna barrier shield in Genshin Impact, you first have to pick up a world quest from Koiju Encampment. Find and talk to an NPC called Toranosuke. Technically speaking, you’ll overhear a conversation between him and another NPC, Miyuke. You can see his location on the maps below. Proceed through this quest until you get the Kamuijima Cannon Map. This is of vital importance, because the cannons are what you need to use in order to bring down the barrier. We’ll mark their locations on the second map screenshot.

Your next order of business is to visit each of these cannons. Every one has an Electrogranum tree next to it, which is fortunate, because you have to have one summoned in order to operate the weapons. So, here’s what you need to do in all three cases. Summon an Electrogranum from near the cannon, then approach and interact with it. Then, move the barrel towards the bright-purple rifts. They kinda look like broken glass, and you need to destroy all three to unlock the Genshin Impact Tatarasuna barrier shield. So, each cannon has one rift you need to destroy with it.

The only potential problem you might encounter is correctly aiming the cannons, because the camera angles do make it a little difficult. However, you can fire more than once, so with a little practice, you should be fine. Once all three rifts are destroyed, the barrier will finally come down.
