The Golden Apple Archipelago is making a return to Genshin Impact. Specifically, in Gesnhin Impact 2.8. As you no doubt already know, the Golden Apple Archipelago was already featured in a prior Genshin Impact event, which focused on Klee and her (and your) adventures there. Now, the Golden Apple Archipelago is having a rerun in GI, with – no doubt – loads of new content for you to enjoy. But how to unlock the Golden Apple Archipelago in Genshin Impact 2.8? How to Get to Golden Apple Archipelago in Genshin Impact 2.8
To start with, you will need to wait until the Summertime Odyssey starts in Genshin Impact. This is scheduled to begin this Friday, July 15th, 2022. So, even though Genshin Impact 2.8 is going to come out this Wednesday, July 13th, 2022, we won’t be able to get to the Golden Apple Archipelago for two more days. Apart from this, you will also need to meet some other criteria. This includes being at least Adventure Rank 32, completing the Archon Quest “Chapter 2: Prologue – Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves”, as well as also completing Mona’s Story Quest “Astrolabos Chapter: Act 1 – Beyond This World’s Stars”. After meeting these prerequisites, you will then receive “The Golden Apple Vacation Returns!” quest. Then, make your way to the Adventurers’ Guild in Mondstadt and speak with Katheryne there. After that, follow the quest and it will soon bring you to the Golden Apple Archipelago itself.
If you have played through the prior Golden Apple Archipelago content, then you know that, the first time around, it focused on Klee and her personal quest there. But this isn’t going to be the case this time. No, this new content is going to be geared to Fischl, Kazuha, Mona, and Xinyan instead. It makes sense, since Mona’s Story Quest is one of the quests that you will need to complete before you can unlock the Golden Apple Archipelago in Genshin Impact 2.8.
