Genshin Impact Ancient Stele is a specific location that you can find in the game, and it contains a “riddle” that reads “Salt seals the ruin within, none uninvited may enter in.” A number of players have already come across the Ancient Stele in Genshin Impact, and are wondering what exactly to do with it. It seems to have no purpose, which makes no sense, considering it’s such an obvious location. How to Activate Genshin Impact Ancient Stele – Salt Seals the Ruin Within?

Unfortunately, you cannot activate the Ancient Stele in Genshin Impact. At least, not at the time of writing. It just says “Salt seals the ruin within, none uninvited may enter in.” For reference, I’m putting this together on October 8th. The Genshin Impact Ancient Stele is a part of some future content drop; presumably, so is the giant, glowing blue seal. So, yeah, just leave it the heck alone, and return at a later date. If you’re curious where to find the Ancient Stele, you can see the exact location below. It’s on the north island of Sal Terrae (which means Salt of the Earth in Latin).

Interestingly enough, some people have managed to glitch below the Genshin Impact Ancient Stele. We haven’t managed to replicate the glitch, so we’re not gonna include this part in the guide. We’re here for facts, not cheats. Well, not this time, anyway. Besides, there’s not much to find in the cave anyways, there’s just two common chests. There’s really no reason to waste your time on it until the content unlocks for real.
