Genshin Impact is a huge game filled with all sorts of characters for you to interact with and items to find and acquire. And, since it gets updated with new content every two months, it keeps getting bigger and more complex. The latest update – Genshin Impact 3.1 – has, among other things, added the new character Candace into the game. A four-star Polearm and Hydro user, Candace has several unique abilities that make her very useful both in combat and outside of it. As with every character, to get the most out of her, you will need to ascend her. One of Candace Ascension Materials is Redcrest. Where to Find Redcrest in Genshin Impact

First, let’s see what Redcrest is. According to the in-game description, it is: “A fruit that grows even in the most hostile of desert environments. Its vibrant crimson fruits are made even more lovely against a backdrop of yellow sand.” Admittedly, this doesn’t give us a lot to go on. It points toward the Redcrest growing in the new desert region that has been added to Sumeru in the 3.1 update, but not a lot of other information besides that.

So where to find Redcrest in Genshin Impact? Well, luckily, this fruit isn’t at all difficult to locate and get. It can be found all over the new Sumeru desert area. It grows on the big cactuses there. As its description states, its bright red color makes it immediately stand out from the green color of the cactus and yellow sand of the desert, making it quite easy to spot from a distance.
