How to get Guide to Resistance?

While you can get some from chests and battle pass rewards, these are not reliable methods of obtaining the Guide to Resistance. Your best bet(s) would be crafting and farming particular domains. If crafting is what rocks your boat, you can combine three Teachings of Resistance into one Guide to Resistance. These can be bought from the Souvenir Shop.

If you want to look for it in dungeons, you should visit Domain of Mastery: Frozen Abyss II-IV on Tuesdays and Fridays, or Domain of Mastery: Biting Frost on Sundays. Both are accessible through the Forsaken Rift domain, which is in Mondstadt, between Springvale and Dragonspine.

Which characters need Guide to Resistance?

After you’ve obtained several tomes of Guide to Resistance, you’ll probably want to put them to good use. You can’t do that without knowing which characters require them, though, so here’s as list of everyone who can use these:

  • Diluc
  • Noelle
  • Razor
  • Mona
  • Bennett
  • Jean

If you’re still early in the game and you obtained a Guide to Resistance by some miracle, you don’t have to worry about it yet. They’re only needed after the second ascension, once you get past level 40. You also need adventure rank 25 to ascend that far, and you’ll need a proper pile of ascension materials to do so. Until then, you can let all the talent books gather dust in your backpack.
