Five Flushes of Fortune event – how it works

To take part in the event, you’ll have to be adventure rank 20 or above. Talk to Ji Tong and complete a quest for him to receive the Kurious Kamera. Once you have the camera, equip it and use it to take photos of various targets around the world. He is marked as a camera icon in Liyue Harbor on the map. You can find Kurious Kamera in Gadget Tab. Once you equip it, you’ll be ready to shoot.

Each target will produce a photo of a different color. Once you have five photos of a different color, you’ll be able to exchange them for a Fortune Trove. Open it up, and you’ll get primogems, Hero’s Wit, Mystic Enhancement Ore and other rewards. It is important to know that the same object can give you different color picture depending on weather conditions.

You’ll get ten sheets of film each day for seven days. You can take 10 pictures per day, but the main problem is that the pictures are taken automatically once you focus on the object. You’ll be able to trade pictures with other players in order to complete your sets. There are five different colors – Crimson (Red), Ultramarine (Blue Picture), Pale Gold (yellow), Purple Aster and Ocher (Brown).

ok wanted to fill this in bc i recently learned it! it’s not intuitive at all so yk. basically whatever color it says in the event (for example: photo subject red creature) that’s the only color object u can take a photo of (example: chili’s, apples, pyro slimes, etc.) that will be the only thing that the kamera locks onto for that time period. the next day, there will be a different color in the event — say yellow. that means the only subject the color will lock onto is yellow things (sweet flowers, sunsettias, berries, etc.) after the subject is chosen, the actual phot color is completely random, but you have to take a picture of a creature that’s the color the event specifies. i would recommend using all of ur film each day to get a surplus of photos just in case you are unable to take photos another time, or want to send them to your friends.

I don’t think it is random because on first day EVERY one of my friends including myself got more red than anything else. Similar for second day. The probability of everyone getting red is absolutely low .

I took a picture of 4 carrots in same patch at same time and got 4 different colors of pictures. Definitely random

I can’t seem yo get the camera to take a picture. It seems completely random whether or not it clicks.

Actually it is stated that the color you get is random. I got blue from Silk Flower in a grass at daytime. Not a single pixel on that picture was blue! But that is intended, the camera looks broken just as the quest giver said.

Same here! I got purple aster from Silk Flower in daytime. I also got crimson from Fire Flower in a storm (night?) after I’d opened it. Then there was the Jueyun Chili I found that gave me pale gold in shade and ocher in sunlight. A friend told me that it’s finicky in what you get, but it’s honestly I agree that it’s just random.
