Ballads of Breeze Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact Ballads of Breeze is one of several Festive Challenge minigames that you can play during the Windblume Festival. It’s a music game that requires you to hit the right button at the right time in order to play a song. It’s a simple concept, and the rewards you can get (if you’re good enough) are pretty enticing. So, in our Ballads of Breeze Genshin Impact guide, we’ll show you how to start the challenge, how to play it, and what the Ballads of Breeze rewards are.
How to Start Genshin Impact Ballads of Breeze
To start the Ballads of Breeze in Genshin Impact, from the Event Overview menu, select Festive Challenges. Then, select the Notes icon in the top, and hit Go to Quest. Next, head to Mondstadt and make your way to the Windblume Festival marker on the bank of Cider Lake(the five-petal flower). Talk to Lizzie, and after a brief chat, the game will proceed to explain how the minigame works.
Basically, it’s a rhythm game, not entirely unlike Guitar Hero or Rock Band or whatever. There are two groups of four buttons on the screen, and you have to press the correct one at the correct time. The better you do and the more hits you chain together, the more points you earn. It seems easy at first, but the higher difficulties really make you concentrate and practice. At the time of writing, there’s only one song available, Celestial Destiny. However, I think it’s safe to assume they’ll all work the same.
How Does Ballads of Breeze Work?
Ballads of Breeze is, as we’ve said, a rhythm game. As we’ve said above, there are two groups of four buttons in the screen. As the song progresses, you will see a circle appear close to one of them, with another circle shrinking around it. You have to press the corresponding button as the shrinking circle turns orange.
It’s simple, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. This is especially true for the Hard and Pro difficulties, which will require you to press two or even three buttons at the same time. Don’t be disappointed if you don’t get it on the first try; just keep practicing, and you’ll get the patterns down. You know, kinda like with a real instrument.
Ballads of Breeze Genshin Impact Rewards
Your rewards for participating in the Genshin Impact Ballads of Breeze quest will depend on your score and which difficulty you’re playing on. As we’ve said, you need to complete each song on Normal mode to unlock the harder difficulties. Anyway, here are the rewards you can earn, and what their requirements are.
- Klee’s Reward (Musical Hobbyist) – Score 1000+ points on Normal difficulty – 30 Primogems, 100 Festive Tour Tickets
- Noelle’s Reward (Rising Star) – Score 1200+ points on Hard difficulty – 2 Hero’s Wit, 100 Festive Tour Tickets
- Venti’s Reward (Windblume Laureate) – Score 1800+ points on Pro difficulty – 20,000 Mora
Mind you, these are the requirements for Celestial Destiny. We don’t know what the other songs will ask you to do to unlock the rewards. However, you can easily check for yourself by clicking on the song’s name in the Ballads of Breeze menu.
