Apparently what happens is, the quest step just refuses to load in. It’s not the worst of things that can happen, but it does prevent you from achieving certain completion bonuses and whatnot. How to Fix Talk to People at Yujing Terrace Bug in Genshin Impact An Ode to Yonder City Quest?

Unfortunately, there is no way to fix the Talk to People at Yujing Terrace quest bug in Genshin Impact An Ode to Yonder City mission. At least, none that we’re aware of. I’ve seen people suggest that getting up to Adventure Rank 45 can help, but we’ve been unable to verify that claim. Also, some have said that restarting the game can help fix this bug, but, again, we can neither confirm nor deny this. The best advice we can give is to just ignore it for now and wait for the developers to roll out a hotfix or something.

What happens is, after you get the An Ode to Yonder City quest from Qingzhou the Poet at Wangshu Inn, you have to go to Liyue. From there, you have to make your way to Bubu Pharmacy, then Yujing Terrace. Once you climb up to the terrace, you should get a new quest step, telling you to talk to people at Yujing Terrace. That’s the part that, unfortunately, doesn’t trigger for people.
