Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Release Date & Time
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is going to arrive very soon. As is usual, this new season is going to bring a bunch of new content to the Battle Royale game. These updates always bring about unusual and interesting – sometimes huge – changes to how the game works, and we can expect much of the same from Chapter 4 Season 2. If you are wondering when is the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 release date and time, we have the answer to that burning question right here.
When is Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Coming Out
We know for a fact that Chapter 4 Season 1 is going to end this Wednesday, March 8th, 2023. This has been officially confirmed by Epic themselves over on their Twitter. A big surprise, since this is several days shorter than the usual three months that these normally last and Chapter 1 was originally supposed to conclude this March 10th. Even though the new season typically starts right the next day, this won’t be the case this time. No, instead, we will be able to play Chapter 4 Season 2 on Friday, March 10th, 2023.
If everything goes the way it usually does, then the Fortnite servers will most likely go down for routine maintenance at 2 AM ET on March 10th. We don’t know how long this maintenance is going to last, but it is probably going to be complete in several hours or so. Around five hours has been the average for previous updates, so we can expect the same rough timeframe for this update as well. That is, if the devs don’t run into any problems. If they do, then this may take a bit longer. Finally, note that matchmaking is going to be disabled roughly an hour before the server maintenance starts. The reason behind this is to let players finish their current matches.
