Believe it or not, Epic Games is planning to bring Fortnite Battle Royale to mobile devices. According to the announcement, it will be the exact same thing as it is on Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Mac. It will feature all of the same gameplay, content, and weekly updates. For now, plans are in motion to bring Fortnite Battle Royale to iOS. Android users will have to be a bit patient, as support for Android “will be coming in the next few months.”

Additionally, they’re planning to support Cross Play and Cross Progression between PC, PlayStation 4, Mac, iOS, and, later on, Android. In other words, you’ll be able to squad up with your favorite co-players across devices. Lastly, the post promises the following: “The same game on all platforms. Console quality graphics and action. Play when you want, where you want.”

If playing Fortnite Battle Royale on your mobile device sounds fun to you, you can sign up for the invite list starting Monday, March 12th. When the invites start coming out, you will get an email. Inside, you’ll find a link to download the game at the App Store. Plus, you’ll get invite codes to share with friends. Don’t worry if you don’t get an invite in the first wave; more will be coming later on. To take part in this whole thing, you’ll have to have at least “an iPhone 6S/SE, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad 2017 devices”, running iOS 11. And, of course, and internet connection.
