For Honor Open Beta Starting Times & War of the Factions Details
Good news for all of you who haven’t had a chance to play For Honor yet. Ubisoft is launching the For Honor Open Beta very soon. You’ll have the chance to test your warrior skills using nine characters in the War of the Factions.
The For Honor Open Beta goes live on February 9th. Everyone who hadn’t gotten into the previous beta will now be able to take a shot at it. As for the exact starting times, they depend on the time zone. We have a list of starting times for you below.
- EST – 9 AM February 9 – 8 PM February 12
- PST – 6 AM February 9 – 5 PM February 12
- GMT – 2 PM Februry 9 – 1 AM February 13
- CET– 3 PM Februry 9 – 2 AM February 13
Once you’re in the game, you’ll have to choose between three factions: the samurais, the vikings and the knights. This is important for the competitive seasonal event called War of the Factions. You’ll be defending your colors on the battlefield, on one of the six available maps.
Here’s how the War of the Factions works. For every match that you play in the four game modes, depending on how good you do, you’ll get points called War Assets. Later, you spend those War Assets to conquer territory on the world map. The faction which has the most territory at the end of the season wins rewards. In short, you should play as much as you can (and as well as you can) in order to support your team.
However, you aren’t stuck playing only knights if you choose to join them. You can play any of the nine heroes on offer. We’ve listed the available heroes below.
Knights- Conqueror
- Warden
- Peacekeeper
- DISABLED: Lawbringer
- Orochi
- Kensei
- Nobushi
- DISABLED: Shugoki
- Raider
- Berserker
- Warlord
- DISABLED: Valkyrie
That’s the info you’ll need going into the For Honor Open Beta. Choose your favorites, and prepare to fight for your faction’s honor in this multiplayer hack-and-slasher.
