For Honor Free Weekend for All Players, Along With a 50% Discount
There is a For Honor free weekend now live, running from August 10-13. Players from all platforms can enjoy it. As it goes with these preview trials, there will be an ongoing discount price of 50%, starting the same day as the free weekend.
Free Weekend Duration Times
The platforms on which the free weekend is present are, of course, the same ones that you can play the game on. These include the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. You can even start the pre-load on PlayStation 4 and PC from August 7th, at 9 PM PDT.

This is not the first time players can get their hands on the free preview version of the game. Back at the start of this year, from February 9-12, there was an open beta. You might remember it for the War of the Factions event. During this event, upon completed matches, players would get a resource – War Assets. With the help of those, you could reinforce the strength of one of the three factions by adding War Assets to their efforts on the global map. In the end, it was the Knights that won the event over the Vikings and Samurais.
During the free weekend, players will be able to enjoy the game’s features, such as:
- A deep roster of diverse heroes
- Five multiplayer modes
- All multiplayer maps
- Full campaign (playable in single-player or online co-op)
If you decide that this game is something that you can enjoy, and decide to buy it afterwards, the progress made during the free weekend will carry over. It will also be the best period to get it, as there will be an ongoing 50% discount across all versions, including the Gold Edition with the Season Pass. The discount period will last from August 10-20 for consoles, and August 10-14 on PC.
