FFXV Mobile MMO in Development
Final Fantasy XV mobile game is officially announced, as Square Enix decided that they will partner up with mobile games developer Machine Zone. They will create a FFXV MMO game for the mobile market that will use the characters, story line, and soundtrack from the original game.
Machine Zone’s technology allows millions of people around the world to play together in a single universe in real time. Also, this game will follow the successful MZ MMO titles Game of War – Fire Age and Mobile Strike. Both of these two games have been one of the best ranked in the Android and iOS application stores.
Yosuke Matsuda, Square Enix President and Representative Director, said that “Machine Zone has a stellar track record in the mobile gaming space and we are putting FINAL FANTASY XV in trustworthy hands. We are very excited to work with the MZ team to bring together two leaders in the gaming world and look forward to FINAL FANTASY XV on MZ’s amazing gaming platform. We’ll work together to create MZ’s next great global mobile MMO game.”
The launch date and the title of the mobile Final Fantasy MMO have not been revealed just yet, but this game will greatly benefit from the excitement that follows Final Fantasy XV, the action role-playing game, that is making it’s appearance for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 29th.
