FFXV Regalia Type-D Stuck on Objects - How to free car from rocks
Regalia Type-D is a new type of car in Final Fantasy XV. It was added in update 1.11, and it’s an off-road model that allows you to drive anywhere you want. It’s a big update compared to what the previous cars could do, and players are already exploring the mountains and plains of Lucis in it. However, there are some issues they’ve come across. The biggest one is getting stuck. In this guide, we’re going to help you with getting stuck with Regalia Type-D, and show you how to free your car from rocks.
Stuck in Regalia Type-D
Since you can go pretty much anywhere with your fancy new ride, you can get stuck on rocks and other objects. There’s an easy trick to freeing yourself, thankfully – several of them, even. If you get trapped, try one of the following:
- Jumping – The new Regalia has a jump function, which uses thrusters to lift the car up into the air. It has a short cooldown, so you can’t really spam it, but it’s always worth a try.
- Parking – When you park the vehicle, it will teleport itself to a valid position, letting you exit without any trouble. You can then re-enter it and be on your way.
- Towing – If none of the above work (and they should), you can always request a tow truck to handle your car. It takes a while, but it’s reliable.
As you can see, getting stuck in Regalia is far from the end of the world. But it’s annoying, and it can break the flow of your play session. Still, for a game that didn’t have any kind of off-road driving programmed in the beginning, it’s come a long way. The Regalia is now a proper car. Surely we can forgive a few hick-ups from time to time?
