Final Fantasy XV Episode Gladiolus DLC Story Details & Standalone Price

Final Fantasy XV is certainly the most-talked about game in the franchise lately. At least, in the good sense; let’s not mention FF XIII. Anyway, FF XV will have huge DLCs, both free and paid. The team behind it is very dedicated to supporting the game and making it as great as possible.

One of the paid story DLCs is Episode Gladiolus. Those who play it will learn what happened to him after he left the party for a while and returned with a large scar on his chest. Those who own the $25 Season Pass don’t have to worry about buying it; they’ll just get it when the time comes. Those who don’t, and want to buy it separately, will have to shell out $5. Honestly, that seems more than reasonable for a whole new story chapter.

Warning, the following paragraph will contain some slight Final Fantasy XV and Episode Gladiolus spoilers. If you want to avoid them, skip over. Don’t say I didn’t tell you.

Episode Gladiolus takes place after the party encounters Ravos. He goes off to train with Cor, to hone his skills and strength even further. He sets of on a journey filled with challenges. On his way, he will meet many “larger than life monsters”, one of which will be the Final Fantasy XV version of Gilgamesh. Long-time fans of the series should recognize that name immediately.

Episode Gladiolus is coming out on March 28th for both platforms, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. We still don’t know the release dates of episodes Ignis and Prompto, as well as the multiplayer expansion Comrades. We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as any new information comes out.
