FFXV Circular Saw Upgrade
As with all other machinery weapons, in order to upgrade your Circular Saw, you’ll have to take it to Cid Sophiar, the most skillful mechanic in Eos. The old guy doesn’t have much to do, so he’s willing to help out prince Noctis by upgrading his machinery weapons. However, he always needs some material to be able to do that.
In this case, you’ll need to bring him a sky gemstone. This item is pretty difficult to find, so keep a sharp eye out. Even though it’s a gemstone and classified as a treasure item, try to resist the urge to sell it for a bunch of extra gil. The sky gemstone is really rare, and finding another one might be a hell of a task. When you find it, save it for the upgrade. Once you’ve procured a sky gemstone, hop on over to Cid whenever it’s convenient to you. Give him the item and your circular saw. He can take it from there. It will take him a couple of days to finish upgrading the weapon, so there’s no reason for you hang about. You’re free to go off and do whatever you want until you get the call that the upgrading is done. When you do, head back and collect your improved Circular Saw, as well as some bonus EXP.
