EXP farming in Final Fantasy 15

Although there are variations depending on how far along in the game you are, the method is simple. All you need is:

You should use as many coins as you can (up to 25 debased, or up to 9 rare). This way you’ll get the highest number of casts as well as the strongest effect. Each cast will give you a fixed amount of EXP, so you don’t have to worry about finding a worthy opponent to cast it on. There are a lot of items that can be used as catalysts for Expericast spells, but these coins are the best. Debased coins are the most common Expericast catalys, while rare coins give the most EXP.

Low level XP farming in FFXV

If you still in the early game and want to level up fast, here’s what you should do:

  1. Use debased coins to craft Expericast. Mix it with 1 fire energy, so it does as little damage as possible.
  2. Get the Moogle Charm from Daurel Caverns dungeon. Equip it for +20% EXP gain (for the character wearing it only).
  3. Eat the Stacked Ham Sandwich for +50% EXP gain. You’ll get the recipe after finishing 3 quests at the Wiz Chocobo post and buying the Fat Chocobo Triple-Decker from Wiz (1100 gil)
  4. Go fight the Bandersnatch near Hammerhead. He’s resistant to fire, so you should be able to cast all your spells and not kill him.
  5. Go to the Quayside Cradle rest spot at Galdin Quay, and pay 10,000 gil for double XP.

High level EXP farming in FF 15

If you’ve already been to Altissia, here are the steps you need to take:

  1. Use all your rare coins and other expericast catalysts to craft the spells. Use fire energy.
  2. Equip the Moogle Charm.
  3. Eat the Maagho Lasagna at the Maagho restauran in Altissia for double XP gain.
  4. Start the King of the Great Escape hunt (at the same spot where you ate).
  5. Go and fight the monster. Fire heals it, so you’ll definitely be able to use every spell you’ve got.
  6. Go to the hotel in Altissia and pay 30,000 gil for triple experience.

Hey Toni! Fil here! Hope you see this cause the left guy at the hotel does the regular sleep. You gotta go to the guy on the right who asks for 30,000 Gil for the night. He’ll have the 3x multiplier for Xp

This was amazing, thanks for writing it up!

I did the high level farming method at level 70 and was able to get to level 99 in 30 minutes on a single lasagna. I was able to craft 39 spells with varying exp bonus levels (though most maxed out). This was without farming any coins/notes, just whatever I had by level 70. I ended up killing the flan a few times by accident because of the level difference, but it only takes 2 minutes to get the hunt again. The result, after all the buffs and resting, was 3 million exp and 420 AP! When I hit level 99 I still had like 800K exp left.

    Just bonkers.

The lost painting hunt works well too, the ghost has a lot of PV 😉

As far as I can tell, the magic is a flat xp gain (maybe I’m wrong here). What’s important is finishing the battle with a good grade to boost xp. I

You need to finish most of the hunt from maagho to unlock it.

Best place to farm exp (Lv99 onwards) is The Howling Eye (Garuda) Quest.. with loading times it takes 3 minutes to defeat Garuda and report card gives 90k exp with 100% exp boost food.

Start by locking on to one of Garuda wings and warpstrike until she disappears. When she reappears to one side do a few more warpstrikes (without breaking her) then she reappears mid battlefield. Her clones, blindside each at least once and finish them off, and then continue attacking Garudas wing to break it. Get behind her and normal pummel her (not cross chain) and she will be done for. If she starts to get up you might get an extra blindside in.

Report card will give A+ on offence, A or B for finesse and A or A+ on time. 90,000 exp.

Add into this expericast spells and that will be even more in the 3-4 minutes to end the battle.
        +90k per 3-4 minutes.

Bonus: you farm the items needed to craft the vortex weapons in the process. This battle is a good fill between waiting for the rare coins run at old lestallum to respawn

The hunt itself has nothing to do with this method, it’s just the most convenient to do it with.
