Final Fantasy 15 Best Weapons locations
Best Weapons in FFXV guide shows all the ultimate weapons acquired in the end game. End game weapons give a significant boost in attack damage, but some lack the additional stats.
To find out where all the Armigers are proceed here: Armiger Locations Guide.
Cerberus is the only sniper rifle in Final Fantasy 15. It might not have great stats, but it’s definitely one of the best firearms in FFXV. This powerful scoped weapon allows you to zoom in and target specific points on your opponent’s body, but the weapon can be used only by Noctis. The weapon can be found in the Fort Vaullery Imperial Base, once you reach chapter 6. If you want to collect this hidden weapon we have a detailed screenshot guide Cerberus Sniper Rifle Location.
Although these weapons can be acquired even at the start of the game, the biggest value they add are their special attacks and the fact they are ranged weapons. If you equip Prompto with them, he can use their power without your interference. Some of the machinery like Gravity Well performs an attack called Gravity Sphere. This special attack resembles the Ascension talent called Gravisphere. This way you save 26 attribute points.
There is also an one more thing. You can upgrade them, to make them even better. This is the endgame goal for them. You can find these upgrades and the name of the items needed for their completion on our main FFXV link page: Strategy Guides & Walkthroughs.
This is why the Armiger weapons (royal arms) are the perfect choice for the stats boosts. Arguably the best combination of primary arms for full power is having three armiger weapons and a regular one.
Armiger Weapons
Armiger weapons are weapons of previous kings. Many of them are obtainable through the main story, but some of them you can miss. The best thing about Armiger weapons are their stats boosts. They can increase resistances to various types of damage, raw physical damage and more. To get the Armiger stats boosts, they only need to be sheathed. The downside of the Armiger weapons is that they can only be used by Noctis (because they are royal arms), and they also drain his health bar when he attacks. To find out where all the Armigers are proceed here: Armiger Locations Guide.

Hey guys. Guess what. I found this weird shit on my polearm and dagger equipment list. Aranea’s Stass Spear and a Kikuichimonji for tge dagger. I googled but no information on where I got these. I literally do not know where. Just finished the game on lvl 98 noct. First try. Completed most hunts and basically crushed Ardyn. When I loaded my save file for chapter 15 I saw these two items on my equipment list.
Just a heads up but I also found a Dominator at the camp site behind the locked door in the Keycatrich dungeon, You may want to list that as well, unless of course it is random. It was literally laying beside the camp fire to be picked up
picked up the hyper magnum as a treasure outside the fort in which you fight the post game naglfar
The Iron Duke has an attack of 581 instead of 531.
wtf, i got zwill crossblade and it doesnt have 345 attack point, for me it only has 203 attack point??? WTF, it tooks me 30 minutes to defeat fucking monster and got that shit?????
Now for the Death Penalty description. “A dread pistol employing rounds that inflict mortal wounds. A single hit has the power to kill instantly. http://i.imgur.com/kluKQfo.jpg <<Screen shot for today's run included.
I wonder what is the % of that instant kill 😀 Thnx Toocidnab Igarax.
No problem. I haven’t tried the Death Penalty yet myself, as I equipped it to Prompto & haven’t seen him 1hit anything with it aside of monsters below his level. If what they say in the description even be true then the instant kill rate must be extremely low. Still if someone knew of an accurate percentage ‘twould be a good thing to know.
Do arminger weapons you have equipped always give you the stats boost even if they’re not your current weapon?
Yes. This goes for all weapons. As long as they are on one of the four slots, you get their boosts.
The description for the Enhancer says “Though it harbors no special powers, this one-handed sword is valued for its unsurpassed attack strength.”
Thank you.
Np. I should have showed you proof before telling you. My twitter I posted it on recently. I will give you the link to that if you want. Here be a screen shot from my game http://i.imgur.com/3MoAfYz.jpg for the Enhancer & its description you may use it as you wish. I was hoping other players would aid you too in contributing. Here be the next one along with my game screen cap. http://i.imgur.com/P8KXUvj.jpg for the Precision Lance description. “The most powerfur version of a unique polearm crafted with Insomnian technology. It absorbs the elemental powers of defeated foes.”
Thank you Toocidnab Igarax once more. There are are rare occasions where people come to give false information here. That is if we give them the good ones, hehe. The description above for the Precision Lance sounded like something that Tony sells. I’ve added the one from the picture 😀 Have fun and Happy Holidays!
Yeah I rechecked & I’m glad I did give you the screen shot I took last night. I forgot where I even got the second description from, so I’m glad the screen shot helped. I must have been looking at another description, silly me. Sorry about that.
Found a Hyper Magnum just outside the east fence of Fort Vaullerey Imperial Base.
I got Iron Duke in a treasure spot between Merrioth Haven and Criclawe Haven, Its the treasure spot near a mining deposit.
@RJ – I picked up a Dragoon Lance from around the same area. I was very startled to find a Legendary Weapon of Legendariness in a random spot in the wilds. I’m not sure if it unlocked the chests solely because I had done the quest already or not.
The treasure spot by the mining deposit was just a mega Phoenix for me not an iron duke! Is it just lying around near there or did yours somehow spawn in the treasure spot
I noticed you guys don’t have a description for the flayer I recently just got it so here it is: A mysterious weapon of unknown origins, it finishes off a flurry of attacks with a devastating coup de grâce.
Thank you :d
Hi, I just found the dragoon Lance in a chest south of Kelbass Grassland’s imperial base, hope you guys find it too
Where abouts south of the base is the treasure located
kndmcs is typing on a keyboard with mixed keys, and he was dropped on his head many times as a child.
I was just trying to help
Thank you for the comment. I really appreciate it. I’ve updated the guide.
No need to be rude.
Some of the stats on amiger list are wrong like for example axe of the conqueror has + 60 strenght and – 80 vitality.
Some of the stats on the armiger list are wrong
btw the Armiger Weapon: Shield of the Just gives -50 MP and -100 Strength not +
Do you know where to get the flayer spear and the balmung sword?
The Flayer and Balmung I just picked up last night, they’re in the 2nd most hardest epic dungeons, the lv 86 and 88 or whatever.
Where did you find the individual models for the weapons? Do they have a viewer?
When you’re equipping your gear you can click in the right stick to compare weaps
They do, you can hit square on the PS4 while hovering over the weapon to display it’s description, as well as the model for it.
Where did you get that much money and exp?
it was over 15 days i got that much he must of done shit load of hunts or sides quests
Most of the side quests give a lot of Gil, EXP is just natural from the other guests, dungeons and etc.
Play Justice Monsters in Altissia on the 10000 gil machine. If you get 99 chests, you will receive an item that sells for 500000 gil.
Eat food that boosts EXP, create Expericast Magic through Elemancy, use Expericast Magic in battles, when the food runs out go to Aliissia, go to Leville Hotel. There are two people you can talk to in order to stay a night, one will charge you 500 gill for a night while the other will charge 30,000 for a night. Select the one charging 30,000 Gil, this will multiple your EPX by 3.
Shit i had that much money after lvl 42. I sold all my crap before I took on the Malboro in the mines.
do the 10k pinball type minigame in altissia get 99 chests then cash it in for a lord vexxos mini, you can sell it to vendor for 500k and you can do this as many times as you want, (I can confirm this as I have got 3 vexxos dolls so far) they also can be used to make break damage limit magic spells
Use Umbra to go back to Lucis, then go to hammerhead. Do the hunt to kill the Adamatoise. Equip two mooglw charms to get a 40% EXP boost. Have as many ethers as possible. Use the rind of Lucii R1+Triangle attack. Every time you use it, it depletes your magic fully. Use an ether to restore it, and do it again. Repeat until you one hit kill it. This will give about 100K exp, 10k Gil, and some Adamatoise meat, and Adamantite bangle that can sold for 30k gil. Then use the 3x hotel for triple EXP
