Final Fantasy 7 Remake PS4 Themes
PlayStation 4 themes from the Final Fantasy VII remake are different dynamic themes that you can get for your home screen, and they all have a different way to get them. Some of them are pre-order bonuses (including from third-party retailers), some require you to own previous games, or to participate in silly tie-in promotions. To make things a bit easier on you, here’s our Final Fantasy 7 Remake PS4 Themes guide.
What PS4 Themes Can You Get for Final Fantasy VII Remake?
There’s a fair number of different PlayStation 4 Final Fantasy VII themes that you can get, and pretty much every single one of them requires a different method. So much so, that we’re gonna have to list them all below. Some of them even come from buying third-party products, which I definitely do not stand for, but that’s besides the point. Let’s go.
- All Characters Theme – available for those that download the demo before May 11th (pictured above).
- Cloud Theme – exclusive for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Sephiroth Theme – exclusive for pre-orders via Amazon in US and select retailers in Europe.
- Tifa Theme – available only for USA via the Butterfingers promo code.
- Cloud / Sephiroth Theme – digital pre-order bonus.
- FF VII / FF XIV Theme – bonus for pre-ordering FF7 with FF14 installed.
- FF VII / FF XV Theme – bonus for pre-ordering via PSN.
Those are the seven themes that we know of and know how to obtain. If you know of any others that we might have missed, please tell us in the comments, and we’ll update the list. I don’t know why they had to make everything so confusing, but there you have it.
How to Get Tifa Final Fantasy VII Remake PlayStation 4 Theme?
To get the Tifa Final Fantasy VII remake PS4 theme, you first have to have participated in the Butterfingers promotion. If you did, you’ll eventually get an email with a redemption code for the dynamic theme (the other stuff will arrive in a different email). To redeem your code, you have to log into your PSN account, then select the PlayStation Store icon on the Home Screen of your PS4. Scroll down to “Redeem Codes.” Enter the code you got, hit Continue, then Download. Hit Continue again to complete the process.
If, on the other hand, you are from outside the US, you are out of luck; odds are, you didn’t have access to the Butterfingers promo, so no code for you. The best you can do is purchase the Tifa theme via eBay (yes, there are people selling it). Or, you can trade themes with somebody. The last option is to ask someone from the US to share a code with you, if they have extras. Other than that, there’s nothing you can do.
Can you Delete FF7 Demo & Still Get PS4 Theme?
Yes, you absolutely can delete you FF7 demo file and still get your PlayStation 4 theme as a reward. A lot of people have been having questions about this, because they can’t seem to find where to download the theme they earned through the demo. That’s because it isn’t available everywhere yet. This theme unlocks on April 10th, and that’s when you can get it. Meanwhile, if you need to get rid of the demo to make room, it’s fine. Everything you earned through playing it will be yours when the time is right. No, I don’t know why I wrote that sentence like it was from a movie.
FF VII Remake PS4 Themes – How to Find & Download?
The easiest way to find the themes your looking for is to search Final Fantasy on the PS4 website on PC. Then, you can filter it for “Themes” on the left. The PlayStation Store’s search engine still isn’t exactly the best thing in the world, so it’s a bit easier to do it via your web browser. Another point for PC, I suppose.
