Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Boss Fight Video
During the last Active Time Report webcast, Square Enix showed fresh footage of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. The video is five minutes long and includes a boss fight with an enemy long time fans will certainly recognize.
Shinryu Celestia is a multi-headed dragon that appears approximately half-way through the main story, on the outskirts of Concordia. According to the webcast hosts, the easiest way to defeat him is by dodging a whole lot and using a stunning attack when the opportunity presents itself. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to do a couple of those in a row before you have to start dodging again. Melee attacks are an option, but only for the most skilled and experienced players, which kind of makes sense – only a select few can punch a dragon.
After they’ve used all their reserves, calling in more and more Class Zero members to replace their fallen comrades, the game gave them a chance to summon an Eidolon – a level 99 Bahamut Zero, to be precise. Suddenly, the tough boss wasn’t so tough anymore – Bahamut quickly overpowered the dragon without the need for skillful play.
Defeating Shinryu Celestia without the use of Eidolons is allegedly possible, but players would need to level up their characters all the way before trying it.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is set for release on March 17th on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Preorder and day-one buyers will get exclusive access to a Final Fantasy XV demo called Episode Duscae.
