How to Do a Power Shot in FIFA 23

To do a Power Shot in FIFA 23, you have to hold the bumper shoulder buttons and then press the “shoot” button. In other words, on PlayStation, you have to hold R1 and L1 and then hit Circle. On Xbox, that’ll be RB and LB, followed by B. Those are the default controls, of course; if you’ve changed things around, that’s you’re business. Anyway, while the input itself is more complicated than average, it’s nothing too difficult. What is tricky, however, is actually pulling it off. Why? Well, for one, this shot is pretty slow, with a long windup. Therefore, you need to carve out a lot of space for yourself if you don’t want to get tackled mid-kick.

One more thing to know when it comes to doing a Power Shot in FIFA 23 is that you have to aim manually. No assistance whatsoever. If you aim anywhere off-target, that’s where the ball will go. Now you might be wondering whether mastering the Power Shot is even worth the effort. It absolutely is. The shot is far more powerful than the regular one (as the name implies). As a result, the defense and the goalie are going to have way more of a problem stopping it. If you execute a Power Shot, it is absolutely devastating, pretty much a guaranteed goal. So, I highly recommend investing some time to perfect it. I know for a fact a number of players will, and you want to be able to respond in kind.
