How to Do Flair Shot in FIFA 23

To do the Flair Shot in FIFA 23, whether it be for the Moments – Rise of Mbappe Perfect Hat-Trick challenge or just to show off, you have to hold the left trigger and press B on an Xbox controller, or hold L2 and press Circle on a PlayStation controller. I’m not sure what the combination is on the Nintendo Switch; let us know in the comments. Either way, you need to make sure to set things up so that you can execute the shot. You don’t want a defender to shoulder you away as you do it. Ideally, you want to have a formation with two attackers and have the other attacker assist Mbappe in the box to throw the defense off. It might take a few tries, but you’ll get it eventually.

And there you have it, that’s how you do the FIFA 23 Flair Shot in the Hat-Trick Moments – Rise of Mbappe challenge (and in general). While we’re on the subject, this challenge also requires you to do a Finesse Shot, as well as a Power Shot. The former is very similar to the Flair Shot, except you have to hold RB on Xbox / R1 on PlayStation before shooting. As for the Power Shot, that’s a bit more difficult. We wrote a whole separate guide about it. Long story short – you have to hold RB and LB / R1 and L1, and then shoot. However, because that shot has a windup, be sure to make some distance between you and the defense. Also, you have to manually aim.
