Despite only being out a few weeks, Ubisoft has already started to announce DLC content for Far Cry 6. Vaas Insanity is the first piece of downloadable content for the game and is available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and Windows PC. You can download it now.

The content focuses on the franchise villain, Vaas Montenegro, for the first time. The narrative will explore his dark past and motivations. Michael Mando, star of Better Call Saul, plays Montenegro as he does in the main series.

Vaas Montenegro Insanity DLC

Montenegro first appeared in Far Cry 3. He was the main antagonist for the first half of the game. Vaas is a sadistic psychopath, feared by his enemies and his own allies. However, he has shown moments of genuine human remorse and sadness in the game, which has endeared fans to the character. In this DLC, Vaas will become trapped in his own mind. To free himself, he must listen to a vision of Citra and follow their commands.

The DLC has solo or co-op mode options. It is also possible to invite friends to play if you are on the same family of devices. This will work on all platforms. It is available for the suggested retail price of 15 euros, or as part of the Far Cry Season 6 Season Pass.

Pagan Min and Joseph Seed are also set to get their own focus with more upcoming Far Cry 6 DLC. It is unknown when these will get released. Check back here for updates and news on everything Far Cry.

The rewards for this DLC are armor. Armor with some cool perks, some of them
However the dlc is long with all challenges and in order to get ALL the 5 armor pieces you have to do quite a lot without dying. One armor takes gettting through 20 waves of fighting and I had trouble at wave 5 because I rushed through the dlc. People should look at the armor before playing the DLC and determine which ones they would use, and find the requirements to get them. You won’t get all the armor just by playing the dlc it is very specific to unlock armor pieces
