Far Cry 5 Post-Launch Content Trailer Shows Season Pass & More

Far Cry 5 is less than a month away, so it’s time to see what’s in store after launch. The new post-launch content trailer, which you can check out below, is there to answer the question. There will be some free content for all Far Cry 5 players, as well as some interesting extra episodes that will be a part of the season pass. The Far Cry 5 season pass will cost you $30 on its own. If you purchase one of the special editions of the game (Gold Edition, Steelbook Edition, or Collector’s Edition), you’ll get the season pass in the bundle.

And what exactly do you get for your $30? Three DLC Season Pass episodes, each one more ridiculous than the last (intentionally, of course). Every one of them seems increasingly more B-movie-like. The first one is Hours of Darkness, which will throw you into the jungle of Vietnam during the war. The second one is Lost on Mars, where you’ll have to battle arachnid aliens on Mars to rescue planet Earth. Lastly, there’s Dead Living Zombies. And yes, zombies have been done to death, but if it’s going to be different B-movie scenarios rather than the usual fare, I’m in. Oh, and let’s not forget, you also get Far Cry 3 Classic Edition with the season pass.

Finally, we have the free post-launch content. First off, Far Cry 5 will have live events. You’ll have to complete various tasks to unlock outfits, weapons, and vehicles. Standard fare. Then, there’s Far Cry 5 Arcade, which sounds like a lot of fun. Basically, there’ll be a bunch of levels made both by the developers and other players. They can be either for single player, co-op, or PvP. Potential unending fun,, depending on your creativity.
