Oh Amazon, how we do love you. I really love how often we get a nugget on info because Amazon was trigger-happy. That being said, it seems that Amazon might have leaked the release date of the first Far Cry 5 DLC, Hours of Darkness. According to the video we’ve linked to below, the DLC will come out on June 5th, 2018, and it will cost $12. That doesn’t seem too far out there. A DLC coming out on a Tuesday does make sense, and that’s a week after Far Cry 3 comes out for those that have purchased the Season Pass for Far Cry 5. That said, I do have to note that the Amazon listing seems to have been removed since, so I wasn’t able to verify anything. So, I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens. I’m sure Ubisoft will be letting us know soon.

And speaking of the Season Pass, let’s give you a reminder of what is in there. There will be three DLC episodes for Far Cry 5. The first one, Hours of Darkness, will take place in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Lost on Mars will pit you against insectiod alien monsters on the red planet, and, lastly, Dead Living Zombies will put you into several scenarios crawling with the living dead. All of these sound like fun B-movie plots, and that’s something I lap up. The Season Pass also includes Far Cry 3 Classic Edition, and the whole package costs $30.
