Fallout 76 Take Photos Near Vault 76 Weekly Challenge
Take photos near Vault 76 is one of the weekly challenges in Fallout 76. If you complete it before next week’s reset, you’ll earn 40 atom. In order to finish it, you’ll have to take several pictures, either by yourself or in a group, in front of the starting vault. The catch is that for each photo, you have to wear a specific outfit – formal outfit and hat, historically based costume, military outfit, sleepwear, sports attire or sunglasses. Since some of these are hard to find, we’ve decided to write a guide for Fallout 76 take photos near Vault 76 weekly challenge.
You’ll take the photos by starting photo mode from the map – it’s the last option on the right once you open the map (T on PC). Make sure you check the requirements for each beforehand – some require other people to pose with you, and those people also have to have the required clothes. You only need to complete five out of the seven objectives, so there’s some leeway.
Formal outfit & hat location
You can use the Dirty Tan Suit and Bowler Hat for this task. The hat can be obtained at the Giant Teapot, north of Poseidon Power Plant. Go into the teapot and look for it between the cash registers, on the counter. As for the suit, we found it at the Becker Farm in Toxic Valley. As soon as you enter the house, look to your right and you’ll find the suit, neatly folded on a sofa.
Historically based costume location
For this one, you can use the Civil War Era suit and top hat. You can find both in Helvetia, a village southeast from Vault 76. There’s a blue wooden house in the north part of the village – go inside and look for them in a display case.
Military outfit location
You can get the Dirty Army Fatigues at Camp McClintock, by starting the Motherlode quest, then heading into the barracks nearer to the main building and grabbing the uniform voucher from the trunk. Once you have it, go to the main hall of the big building and look for a uniform dispenser behind the counter. Interact with it, and you’ll exchange the voucher for a uniform. You might also have to wear the helmet.
Sleepwear location
This is one of those you’ll probably have to skip. The only place we found pajamas was the atom store, which means investing real money into the game. And they weren’t cheap, either – 600 atoms for a pair of pajamas.
Sports attire location
You can use the Skiing Outfit for this one. Get it (along with the hat) at the clothing store at Pleasant Valley Ski Resort, directly east of the big dome at the Top of The World.
Sunglasses location
You’ll find a pair of sunglasses at Horizon’s Rest, in the tower built from airplane wrecks. It’s on the same level as the kitchen, and you can access it by following a bridge from the cliff. Find the stairs and look for the glasses on the dresser under them.
The longjohns underarmor works as sleepwear btw! No need to spend atoms on PJs!
You don’t have to take all photos to get the atoms, only 5 of the 7 areally required. I was able to use the three piece suit for historical and golf clothes for sports.
