Tattoos and Face Paint | Fallout 4

Fallout 4 allows you to put multiple layers of face paint and tattoos on your face. It can be done at any time during the game, but it comes at a cost. There are also magazines which unlock new designs, so you’ll probably rethink your image every once in a while. In this guide, we’re going to show you how to change face paint and tattoos in Fallout 4, the location of the shop that does it and where to find Taboo Tattoos magazines.

How to change Tattoos and Face Paint

In order to change your appearance, you’ll need to find a plastic surgeon. There’s one in Diamond City Market, at the Mega Surgery stand. Go through the red door with the logo, and talk to the doctor. He’ll do what you want for 100 caps.

Note: Keep in mind you can put on more than one layer of paint, and in different colors – mix and match, see what works best.

Taboo Tattoos magazine locations

There are five issues of the Taboo Tattoos magazine, and each one unlocks a new design. They can only be applied to the face – other body parts will sadly have to stay ink-free. Here’s a video showing where to find the mags and what the tattoos they unlock look like:
