Butcher’s Hook is a unique weapon in Fallout 4: Far Harbor. It’s used in close combat – when you score critical hits, it will refill your action points.

Butcher’s Hook Location
You can buy it from Erickson, the super-mutant who sells guard dogs. Go to the plane wreck of Horizon Flight 1207 south-west from Far Harbor. Enter the plane and look for a mutant wearing a bear skin. Be careful not to attack him, or his dogs – they aren’t hostile.
It works in a similar fashion to the Deathclaw Gauntlet from the vanilla game, as far as the moveset and range are concerned. If you’ve got materials to spare, you can take the hook to a workbench and upgrade it with additional hooks. It’s not going to affect the AP restoration ability, but it will increase the damage output and look much, much cooler.
