Elden Ring Tree Sentinel Armor Set, Shield & Weapon
The Elden Ring Tree Sentinel Armor set, shield and weapon are all a part of the same “look.” By that, I mean it’s the full equipment set that will turn you into a Tree Sentinel knight, too. These are powerful items we’re talking about here, and therefore, you’ll have to work your butt off to obtain them. This guide is going to make this journey a bit less difficult. So, let’s dive straight in.
Elden Ring Tree Sentinel Armor Set Location
The location of the Elden Ring Tree Sentinel armor set is in Liurnia, in a dungeon called Auriza Hero’s Grave (location in screenshots below). Ride the elevator down into the tomb, and take the first doorway to the right. Head all the way down the incline, back up and then around the corner to the right. Mind the chariots, of course. Walk to the bottom again, and you’ll see a path on the right and a chasm on the left. In the chasm, there are actually beams that you can land onto. Drop down, and carefully keep dropping down to the bottom-most beams. Turn south, head through the doorway, and climb up the ladder.
Follow the path and walk down another chariot incline, then dive into the passage on the left when you reach the bottom. Take the stairs on the right and ride the elevator up. Run towards the statue spewing flames when you can and strike it. Now, it will blow its flames in the other direction. Run down that corridor and go left when you can. Slowly walk down the stairs and drop down. That should unlock the armor for you.
Where to Find Tree Sentinel Shield in Elden Ring
To find the Tree Sentinel shield in Elden Ring and eventually complete the set with the armor and weapon, head to the north of Liurnia and the site of grace called Altus Highway Junction. We’ll show you where that is in the screenshots below. From there, head up the enormous staircase. The place is crawling with strong enemies, so be very careful. At the very top of the stairs, you’ll have to fight not one, but two Tree Sentinels on horseback. It’s a grueling fight, so remember what you learned about them in your first battle (more about that below). After they’re both dead, you’ll receive the Erdtree Greatshield and Hero’s Rune (1).

The location of the Tree Sentinel weapon, the Golden Halberd, you have to beat the Elden Ring Tree Sentinel boss, who is the rightful wearer of the armor. You’ll find this hulking monstrosity almost at the very start of the game, just north of The First Step in Limgrave. He is a major obstacle on your way to Church of Elleh, and extremely difficult to beat at that stage of the game. However, when you have your mount and have leveled up and gotten better gear, go back and give him a taste of his own medicine. When the boss drops dead, you’ll get the Golden Halberd.
