Elden Ring is full of all manner of characters. Sometimes, these characters don’t have too much content relegated to them, and sometimes, they are involved in long quest chains that can be difficult to figure out and navigate. Roderika is an NPC that falls squarely in the second category. While this may not seem apparent the first time you encounter her, she can provide a lot of benefits to the player. Elden Ring Roderika Location
In Elden Ring, Roderika can be found at first inside the Stormhill Shack. When you encounter her there, she will tell you that all of her friends have been grafted by a spider to become Chrysalids. She is afraid that the same will now happen to her as well. Continue speaking with her until you exhaust all dialogue options. She will provide you with a Sitting Sideways pose and the Spirit Jellyfish Ashes. These Spirit Ashes allow you to summon a spirit, and is a very useful strategy to employ against bosses in ER.
Elden Ring Chrysalids Memento Location & Usage
Roderika mentioned Stormveil Castle, so this should be your next destination. As you make your way through this area, you will come across a large hall with a spider-like boss there. This is the Grafted Scion, a powerful Field Boss. Luckily, you do not need to fight it. Instead, go to the room to the right. In here, you will find a dead Troll that has been suspended over a pile of bodies. There are some enemies here, so quickly dispatch them. Search the pile of bodies, and you will find the Chrysalids’ Memento.
Give Roderika Chrysalids’ Memento or Leave
Next, return to Roderika at the Stormhill Shack. You will get a choice of either to give her the Chrysalids’ Memento or to Leave. When you present her with the Chrysalids’ Memento, she will thank you. Speak with again and she will announce that she is going to go to the Roundtable Hall. From then on out, you will be able to find her at that location.
How to Upgrade Summons Elden Ring Roderika Quest Ending
The next time you see Roderika, she will be at the Roundtable Hall. Speak with her and she will give you a Golden Seed. Go to Smithing Master Hewg, who is at the same location. You will get an option to talk about Roderika. It turns out that she has a mysterious power, one that he can help her to unlock. Go back to Roderika. You will get the choice of whether or not to tell her about what Hewg said. Select this option and she will be very surprised, but will be intrigued by this. Talk to Hewg once more. Select the “Would you watch over Roderika?” dialogue option, followed by “It’s what she wants.” Leave Roundtable Hall and then return to it.
Roderika is now next to Hewg. When you speak with her, she will offer you her Spirit Tuner services. This allows you to strengthen the Spirits you summon. To do this, you will need Runes and Grave Gloveworts. These flowers can be found in small dungeons all over the map, so keep an eye out for them. This completes Roderika’s quest chain.
