Elden Ring Golden Order Greatsword Location
Finding the location of the Golden Order Greatsword, one of Elden Ring’s legendary armaments, will not be a particularly strenuous venture. Like all other legendary weapons, this powerful sword not only has enviable stats, but also packs a unique ability that you can only use with it. Called Establish Order, this skill consists of two parts. The first part releases a golden explosion upon bringing the weapon up. The follow-up sends waves of golden light in a direction of an attack. If you would like to have this mighty greatsword in your collection, here’s where to find the Golden Order Greatsword.
How to Get Golden Order Greatsword in Elden Ring
Like many other strong legendary weapons in Elden Ring, the Golden Order Greatsword is not something you’ll encounter in the early game. This is a late-game sword, which can be found in the Mountaintops of the Giants region. The Mountaintops of the Giants zone is one of the end-game areas in Elden Ring. You can access it only after you activate the Grand Lift of Rold in Leyndell, the Royal Capital. And in order to activate it, you’ll need the Haligtree Secret Medallion. This will grant you access to a whole new secret zone, including the Mountaintops.

Once there, you’ll want to find the Cave of the Forlorn. This dungeon is where you’ll get the Golden Order Greatsword. The cave is located just east from Stargazers’ Ruins. Once there, use a Stonesword Key to enter and activate the site of grace near the entrance.
On the first level of the cave, you’ll find a couple of bodies to loot but no enemies. Just go all the way to the end of the cave, and when you reach the end, you’ll spot a few rocks forming a stairs-like formation. Use them to reach the secret area as you can see in the images above. Climb first, then jump to the other side, and then go all the way down.
Now you’ve reached an area with red jellyfish. Clear the area until you spot a hole in the ground. That’s your next place to go, which you can see in the image above. Descend through the whole until you reach the bottom. And that’s where you’ll find the Misbegotten Crusader boss. Defeat him, and he’ll drop the Golden Order Greatsword.
Very early in your exploration of Elden Ring world you will find out that you need to prepare your character for different tasks.
