Elden Ring Godslayer Greatsword, Godskin Apostle Armor Set Location
You will spend a large part of Elden Ring’s playtime looking for better gear. Specifically, more powerful weapons and armor. This is only to be expected since ER is a very difficult game, and having better defensive and offensive capabilities will ensure that you can survive longer. Of course, to get the best items in the game requires that you visit some far-off and dangerous areas and defeat fearsome enemies there. The Godslayer Greatsword and Godskin Apostle Armor Set are in the same location in Elden Ring, and we will show you how and where to get both of these.
How to Get Godslayer Greatsword and Godskin Apostle Armor Set in Elden Ring
To get this weapon and armor set, you will need to go to the Divine Tower of Caelid. In order to travel there, first take the portal north from the Church of Marika. This will teleport you to Bestial Sanctum, and you can then travel southwest to reach the Divine Tower itself. To get into this tower, you will need to do some careful platforming, using your steed to double jump from one platform to another. Once you get inside, your task is then to go all the way down to the lower levels. Again, this will require that you carefully time your jumps from platform to platform. Be patient and you will eventually get there.
When you get down, you will encounter the Godskin Apostle boss. Needless to say, this is a very tough fight. Once you defeat this boss, you will get the Godskin Apostle Set. It consists of: Godskin Apostle Hood, Godskin Apostle Robe, Godskin Apostle Bracelets, and Godskin Apostle Trousers. Continue into the next room. You will find the Godslayer’s Greatsword in a chest here. This Colossal Sword has Str D, Dex D, and Fai D scaling, and requires Str 20, Dex 22, and Fai 20. It provides The Queen’s Black Flame skill and its attacks inflict physical and fire damage.
Very early in your exploration of Elden Ring world you will find out that you need to prepare your character for different tasks. You'll need to learn how to use Ashes of War, how to two-hand weapons, or use magic spells during the course of your adventures. Many secrets are also waiting for you, such as, a hostile NPC Sellen that doesn't let you see her shop, an invisible man in a bush, or a huge turtle with a bell that lets you duplicate some very important items.
