Elden Ring Resurrection Painting Location
Elden Ring’s Resurrection Painting is one of many paintings you’ll collect during your journey in the Lands Between. No, this is not because the Tarnished is a fine art aficionado. Paintings are a new feature in Souls games. They act as a type of puzzle with a reward upon completing them. If you don’t know where to find the Resurrection Painting location, worry not, as we are here to help you.
How to solve Resurrection Painting location in Elden Ring?
You probably already know this, but the picture itself can be found in the Artist’s Shack in northeast Liurnia of The Lakes, near the Carian Study Hall. Check out our map below for the exact location. The trick with solving Paintings in Elden Ring is to look for the position from where the painting was painted from. The Resurrection Painting depicts a castle on a cliff, but what we actually look for is the ruined graveyard from where the artist has painted the Resurrection Painting. The castle will still be of help as a visual reference so that we know where to look for. So, in order to find that sweet, sweet loot hidden behind the Resurrection Painting puzzle, head to the Caria Manor. The Caria Manor is a huge landholding, and fair warning, it’s heavily guarded. Check out the map below for the exact location.
You’ll need to clear the Caria Manor not only because of the Resurrection Painting location but also because it is a major part of the story progression. Upon completing this dungeon, it will grant you access to the northeast sections of Liurnia of the Lakes. Without spoiling much, the Caria Manor is rife with foes, and one major boss. Be sure you’re well prepared for this foray. Once you’re done with the boss, just follow the path to the east of Caria Manor and you’ll soon see the Royal Grave Evergaol. That’s the graveyard we’re looking for. Look out for a phantom painter (see the image below), and interact with him. He’ll disappear, and you’ll receive a Juvenile Scholar Cap, Juvenile Scholar Robe, and a Larval Tear. Shoutout to Game Guides Channel for the screenshots!
Very early in your exploration of Elden Ring world you will find out that you need to prepare your character for different tasks. You'll need to learn how to use Ashes of War, how to two-hand weapons, or use magic spells during the course of your adventures. Many secrets are also waiting for you, such as, a hostile NPC Sellen that doesn't let you see her shop, an invisible man in a bush, or a huge turtle with a bell that lets you duplicate some very important items.
