How to Get Carian Retaliation in Elden Ring

To get the Elden Ring Carian Retaliation Ash of War, you have to find the merchant called Pidia, Carian Servant. There are several ways you can get there. One is by heading east from Seluvis’s and Ranni’s Rise in the Three Sisters, and the other is going southwest from Royal Moongrazing Grounds. From whichever angle you’re coming, the aim is the part of the cliff from which you can drop onto the roof below.W We’ll show you exactly where that is in the screenshots below.

Head to the southwest side of the roof and drop down to the wooden platform below, and then another one, and then the stone floor below. Go east and climb down the ladders leading into the blue-glowing cathedral below. You’ll see Pidia crawling on the floor to the right of the ladders.

A word of advice when it comes to getting the Carian Retaliation Elden Ring Ash of War. It seems that, at some point, a bunch of knights kill him. I’m not sure what triggers this, but if it does happen, don’t worry. Loot Pidia’s corpse to get his Bell Bearing. Don’t worry, the knights won’t attack you; at least, they left us alone. Take the Bell Bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks in Roundtable Hold, and you’ll be able to buy Carian Retaliation from them.

Elden Ring Carian Retaliation Glitch

The Carian Retaliation Ash of War glitch in Elden Ring might not even technically be a glitch; perhaps it’s just an exploit that sprung from an unintentional synergy between two items. Whatever you call it, though, it is an incredibly powerful “cheat.” To make it happen, you’ll also need the Wraith Calling Bell. First, place the Carian Retaliation on whatever shield you’re using to parry. Then, ring the bell to summon the wraiths, and immediately parry your shield into them. If you’ve done everything correctly, three glowing spectral swords will appear and float around you.

Congrats, you’ve triggered the Carian Retaliation bug, if indeed it is a bug. You can now fire the three swords into your target and do anywhere between 2500 and 3000 damage even at around nine Intelligence. Repeat the process to summon and fire the swords again and again, as many times as you have FP for. It’s brutal, especially in PvP, where the enemy doesn’t even see the swords coming.

Very early in your exploration of Elden Ring world you will find out that you need to prepare your character for different tasks. You'll need to learn how to use Ashes of War, how to two-hand weapons, or use magic spells during the course of your adventures. Many secrets are also waiting for you, such as, a hostile NPC Sellen that doesn't let you see her shop, an invisible man in a bush, or a huge turtle with a bell that lets you duplicate some very important items.
