God of War E3 2016 Gameplay Video Released
Sony have used their press conference at E3 2016 to broadcast a gameplay video of the new God of War game. It’s simply called God Of War, and takes place many years after the last, as you can tell by Kratos being older.
Kratos has a child to take care of now, it seems, a boy that’s on the verge of adulthood – or at least that’s what good old daddy would like. The video shows them hunting dinner, the boy being too eager and Kratos scolding him. Suddenly there’s monsters, frozen axes and boiling blood all around, a giant troll shouting something about Valhalla and all out war. After the battle is done, the boy must plunge a knife into a deer’s heart, because that will make him a man.
The game is going to be a Playstation 4 exclusive, as expected – God of War games have been selling Sony consoles for generations now. There’s no word of a release date yet, or even a time window, which probably means we won’t see it this year.
