Dying Light Hellraid DLC Announced for Summer 2020

The developers of Dying Light have announced a brand new paid DLC for the game. It’s called Hellraid, and it’s coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC in the summer of this year. The DLC is based on Techland’s unreleased first-person fantasy slasher of the same name, and it’ll feature new weapons, new enemies, and a whole new dungeon to explore.

Dying Light Hellraid DLC Announced for Summer 2020

Before we say anything about Dying Light Hellraid, allow me to quote a part of the description from the Steam page: “No one knows where the strange arcade machine came from. One day the residents of the Tower just found it in the basement after an odd power outage. They took it upstairs unaware of what they had come across.” Yes. This is about a demonic arcade machine that says Insert Soul instead of Insert Coin. When something’s that ridiculous, how can you possibly resist?

So, what exactly can you look forward to in the Hellraid DLC for Dying Light? Well, it’s basically a brand new game mode that’s “based on Techland’s unreleased first-person fantasy slasher Hellraid,” which I think is pretty interesting. The DLC will feature a whole new dungeon area, new enemies “straight from the depths of Hell,” and, of course, whole new weapons that you’ll be using to hack and slash your way through the demonic armies. And again, I cannot stress this enough – it all happens because of an arcade machine that is apparently a portal to Hell itself.

Now, the Hellraid DLC doesn’t have a release date at time of writing, aside from the general Summer 2020 launch window. Also, we don’t know what the price is gonna be; we just know that it definitely will have to pay for it. For now, you can only wishlist it on Steam; that said, it will naturally be available on Xbox and PlayStation, too.
