Dying Light: The Following Dune Buggy Customization Video
Techland have released a new trailer for Dying Light’s The Following DLC. It’s called Weaponize Your Ride, and it shows off and explains the dune buggy customization, upgrades and modifications.
First up are the cosmetic changes.
After that comes the tweaking. There are five slots on the buggy for technical improvements, like engine upgrades, wheels and suspension, which affect your top speed, acceleration, braking and handling.
Finally, there’s the equipment. What’s a dune buggy without a flamethrower? There will be several upgrades to choose from, and you’ll get to equip two. This will allow you to, for example, install an electric cage, along with a car alarm. When you trigger the latter, nearby zombies will start flocking at the car. When you trigger the former, it’ll send them flying.
The Following is a paid-for DLC that is going to be released on February 9th. The price is still unknown, but since it’s expected to be quite a hefty update, don’t expect it to be cheap.
First up are the cosmetic changes.
You’ll be able to choose from a bunch of different paint jobs, but we’re still unsure whether custom paint will be available. It seems like you’ll be stuck with the presets. There will also be knick-knacks to unlock, like dashboard bobbleheads and keychains to plaster all over your vehicle.
