How to Unlock Safes in Dying Light 2

Unlike lockpicking in Dying Light 2 (which, naturally, requires lockpicks), unlocking safes in DL2 doesn’t require any materials. All you need to do is to find a safe and interact with it. This will bring up a separate screen where you need to put in the correct safe combination in order to get it to open. There are three numbers, and they can all range from 0 to 100. Once you get all three of these numbers right, the safe will then open, and you will be able to loot whatever is inside of it.

Now, there is a way to “guess” this combination. While playing on Xbox and PlayStation – as well as on a PC with a controller attached to it – your controller will briefly vibrate when you are on the correct number. However, please note that it can take quite a while to scroll through all of these numbers (especially since this combination can be 99 99 99, for example), and that you are much better off trying to find the right safe code instead.
