Where to Buy a House in Dragon's Dogma 2
Ever since the concept of owning your own housing was introduced to RPGs, this has become a feature of most modern RPGs. Of course, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is no different in this regard. You will get an opportunity to purchase a house, though you won’t be able to do this right away from the very beginning of the game. To save you the time you would have needed to spend searching for this, we’re going to show you how and where to buy a house in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
How to Get a House in Dragon’s Dogma 2
The process of acquiring your new abode starts in the Merchant Quarter in Verworth. You will be approached by Mildred, who has a very interesting proposition for you. Namely, she is going to be away for a week and needs someone to housesit for her. She’ll then mark the house’s location on your map, and ask that you visit her there when you can. Go to her house and speak with her there again. Mildred will tell you that you don’t need to worry about tending to her house while she is away, or even necessarily staying there. So it’s a win-win situation – you get a free place to sleep, and she gets a reliable housesitter.
After a week, as promised, Mildred is going to return. She’ll inform you that she prefers to live in the place she visited, and that’s she wants to sell off her old house. The price is 20,000 GP. As soon as you pay here the money, the ownership of the house will transfer to you, and you will likewise earn the “A House? In this Economy?” Achievement. Since the house is now yours, you can freely use it as a place to rest and stash your belongings. There are probably other houses in the game that you can purchase as well, but this is the first one that we have found.
