You’ll need to do this if you want to unlock the Warfarer vocation, since the NPC that grants you the class, Lamond, wants some. You can find him in the Agamen Volcanic Island area, by the way. Where to Find Newt Liqueur in Dragon’s Dogma 2

There are a few locations where you can find Newt Liqueur in Dragon’s Dogma 2, all of which are in the town of Bakbattahl. At least, those that we have found. One you can purchase from the NPC called Earland for two thousand Gold. He usually hangs out near the Flamebearer Palace Road leading east out of town. Another place you can just grab a bottle is in the house of Cliodhna and Gautstafr. There’s also a bottle ripe for the taking in the Laboratorium – Chemical Stores room deep in the bowels of the Forbidden Magick Research Lab.

Then there’s a hidden side quest you can do. If you’re human, don the Beastren Mask (available at Ibrahim’s Scrap Shop in Checkpoint Rest Town). Head to the northeast of Bakbattahl, to Higgs’s Tavern Stand. Find a little fenced area next to two stacks of sacks. Carry the sacks into the fenced area to find another location of Newt Liqueur in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Doing this will let you into a secret shop of sorts, in which you can purchase the drink for an eye-watering five thousand Gold per bottle. Not the cheapest or easiest route, but if you’re in a bind, it’ll do.

Move the sacks at Higgs’s Tavern Stand

Last, and in my opinion definitely the least, is crafting the Newt Liqueur yourself. To do that, you’ll need one Saurian Tail and one Fruit Wine. Both items are expensive and not super-common, and there are much better uses for the Tail than this. I’d recommend avoiding this course if you at all can.
