Dragon's Dogma 2 New Vocation - The Warfarer
The sequel to the hit action RPG from 2012, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is finally nearing release. As befits a modern sequel, the combat and gameplay still look as thrilling as ever, though expanded upon to make them even more memorable and engaging. For example, developer Capcom have recently unveiled a brand-new Vocation over on Sony State of Play. This is none other than the Warfarer. We have all of the details regarding this exciting new class right here, so read on to learn everything we know about the Warfarer.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 New Warfarer Vocation
As you know, the Vocations in Dragon’s Dogma function like character classes from similar RPGs. Each one of these has their own strenghts and weaknesses. For example, the Archer is a fast and agile warrior that specializes in long-distance combat, taking out their foes with bows, while the Fighter is a heavily-armored combatant that prefers to engage enemies in melee, wielding a weapon in one hand and a shield in the other.
And as for the Warfarer, this is a Vocation that is exclusive to the Arisen (the player character). This Vocation can use every weapon, and utilize Skills from every other Vocation. Basically, this means that you can pick and choose from different tools and abilities to create just the right character for you, one that can respond to just about any challenge that stands in their way. If you prefer to play a sort of classless character that you can mould exactly to your liking, then the Warfarer might be just what you’re looking for. Dragon’s Dogma 2 is set to release this March 22nd, 2024. It is going to be available on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X/S, and the PlayStation 5.
