How to Get Warrior Vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2
You start Dragon’s Dogma 2 with a simple choice of four Vocations. This is what DD2 calls its classes, and you have the following at your disposal: Fighter, Archer, Mage, and Thief. All of these are pretty self-explanatory. But during the course of the game, you will get the option to unlock several advanced Vocations. One of these is the mighty Warrior. A more specialized form of the Fighter, the Warrior wields massive greatswords and hammers that they can use to cut through any foe. But before you can switch over to a Warrior, you’re first going to need to unlock this class. Here’s how to get the Warrior Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
How to Unlock Warrior Class in Dragon’s Dogma 2
To unlock this Vocation, you are going to need to complete the “Vocation Frustration” quest first. Speak with Klaus over at the Vernworth Vocation Guild to begin it. He will tell you that you need to find an Archistaff and a Greatsword to complete this quest. There are two ways to do this quest. You can either purchase both of these weapons at, for example, Celeste’s Smithy. Any weapon that has the Greatsword and Archistaff will do. Though, note that these are pretty expensive, and that you’ll need a lot of GP to buy them.
If this is too pricey for you, there’s always the option of finding these weapons out in the wild. Klaus recommends that you go speak to Roderick at Roderick’s Smithy about a missing shipment. Doing this will take you to the Trevo Cave – the same place where you needed to go as part of the Monster Culling quest. This is where you can find both a Greatsword as well as an Archistaff. Take both of these back to Klaus at the Vernworth Vocation Guild and present them to him. Doing this will complete the “Vocation Frustration” quest and unlock both the Warrior and the Sorcerer Vocations.
