How to Get Through Battahl Border in Dragon's Dogma 2
At a certain point in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you are going to need to make your way over to Battahl. This is the nation of the Beastren, and this country doesn’t have the best relationship with the human nation of Vermund. Still, you need to get inside. But this isn’t an easy feat, even though you are going to get a Beastren Border Entry Permit from Brant. If you can’t figure out how to get through the Battahl border in Dragon’s Dogma 2, we are here to help you enter Battahl without any problems.
How to Enter Battahl in Dragon’s Dogma 2 Nation of the Lambent Flame
At the end of the “Feast of Deception” quest, Brant will tell you that you need to go to Battahl in order to uncover the false Sovran’s secrets there. To help you with this, he’s going to provide you with the Beastren Border Entry Permit. However, he’ll also explain that this Permit is intended for a Beastren. Which, if you have picked this as your race during character creation, won’t be a problem for you. But if you are a Human, you will then need to somehow find a way to get around this.
So make your way to the Battahl Border. Once you get there – and if you are a Beastren – simply present the Beastren Border Entry Permit to the guard at the gates, and you will be given entry. However, if you are not, you will first need to procure an item that will let you pass as a Beastren. This item is the Beastren Mask, and you can buy it at Ibrahim’s Scrap Store. It costs 8700 GP. Buy it and immediately equip it. Now you can give the Beastren Border Entry Permit to the guard, and he will think that you are a Beastren and will let you inside Battahl.
Note that, while this is the main method of getting to Battahl, that there is also an alternative way to get there. Though, as it is a very dangerous one, we can’t really recommend it. Still, if you want to give it a shot, there’s nothing stopping you. Well, nothing except a bunch of high-level monsters that will most likely make your trip there a very short one, that is. If you look at the map, you’ll see that there is a path to the west directly from the border town. You can try your luck going there, and if you are skilled and powerful enough, you can make your way through it to get into Battahl down the south this way.
Easier way to enter without permit or going through a dangers route… just hop on a caravan and ride it through the gate
